Collaboration Sales Specialist

Role and Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity to join Cisco’s Collaboration Sales organization and apply your technical expertise, sales acumen and leadership skills in a role that has high visibility and impact. This is a quota-carrying sales role and the candidate will be driving the sales of Cisco’s Collaboration solutions in Malaysia.

Cisco’s Collaboration business includes mature solution in the IP Telephony, Unified Communications, Contact Centers, WebEx and TelePresence areas. At the same time there are emerging solutions like Digital Media Systems, Hosted Email, business communications tablets and Social Media software.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Sales Manager for Collaboration business in Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carries Sales Quota for Cisco’s Collaboration business Indonesia.

2. Work in partnership with Country sales team to drive business.

3. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with Country Manager and rest of Management team in Cisco Malaysia.

4. Work with top 3 Channel partners in country and help them plan and execute the Collaboration sales plan.

5. Work with the channel team to increase partner coverage in all Collaboration market segments.

6. Launch sales initiatives to increase pipeline.

7. Drive sales programs with Channel Partners.

8. Demonstrate business transformation and solution-selling approach.

9. Demonstrate executive relevance, and have ability to position complex solutions at senior IT and CxO level, including contact centre, video, collaboration and appropriate applications & technologies.

10. Demonstrate influence over Customer's & Partner’s strategy/behavior.

11. Demonstrate clear awareness of the Collaboration market pressures & trends and transitions.

12. Understands and can articulate Cisco’s vision, strategy and architectural approach to Collaboration

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 10 years experience in Unified Communications (UC) and Contact Center industry.

- Business video selling skills is a plus.

- Proven track record in leading and winning major UC Sales opportunities.

- Demonstrated success in launching & executing of Sales Programs with Channel partners.

- Experienced in working with Service Providers to launch and execute Managed Services programs.

- Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencing CxOs, Contact Center Managers, Telecom Managers, IT Managers, etc

- Understand, articulate and position Cisco’s UC vision both internally and externally.

- Familiarity with Cisco UC solutions will be a bonus.

- Familiarity with Cisco UC and Contact Center competitors like Avaya, Nortel, Alcatel, Genesys and Microsoft is highly desired.

- Ability to work unsupervised and lead Sales engagements with Cisco’s Collaboration partners.

- Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills

- Strong team player and ability to lead a multi-functional virtual team.
