Special Instructions to Applicants: This position is funded by a grant.
Position Purpose: To work with the NH Bureau of Behavioral Health and the Dartmouth EBP Center in the development of state infrastructure (e.g. training, fidelity monitoring process and outcomes, and policy) to implement evidence-based supported employment services and Illness Management and Recovery services at multiple sites in a sustainable way. Additionally, to guide the process of implementing high fidelity supported employment services and Illness Management Services through collaboration between NH Bureau of Behavioral Health and the Community Mental Health Centers throughout New Hampshire.
Skills & Knowledge: Ability to take initiative, work independently, identify and resolve problems, and overcome obstacles.
Knowledge of mental illness and mental health rehabilitation services for adults with severe mental illness.
Has an understanding of the philosophy of recovery and its application to individuals and families experiencing mental illness.
Knowledge of organizational change process.
Knowledge of SE implementation process and financing mechanisms.
Knowledge of IMR implementation process and financing mechanisms.
Knowledge of organizing and conducting statewide initiatives of supported employment and illness management.
Demonstrated trainer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with others and as a team member.
Ability to travel to CMHCs throughout the state of NH.
Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health services and/or vocational services and/or rehabilitative services for adults with mental illness.
Direct service experience with people with severe mental illness.
Experience providing training related to community mental health services.
Experience promoting systems collaboration between Mental Health and Vocational Rehabilitation.
