Job Description
To build relationships with Alliances and Code Share partners. A focus on Group Travel Agents, and other distribution channels to drive the strategy with Etihad partners in conjunction with Pricing and Marketing.
To cover a national or regional portfolio of alliance sales in conjunction with the Etihad sales teams dependent on the market.

Applicant must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of corporate airline sales gained over a period of not less than 3 years, with a proven track of success in negotiating, implementing and managing preferred agency agreements where applicable.
The stature, knowledge, personality and communication skills to rapidly gain credibility with managers, both internally and externally, and to influence key decision makers
Significant business to business sales experience
A demonstrated history of providing professional customer service with a sales focus
A thorough knowledge of Etihad’s products and services
An in-depth knowledge of the industry gained through a combination of education and/or relevant experience
Computer literate including a broad knowledge of Microsoft applications
The ability to plan workloads, prioritise, meet deadlines and operate independently
The ability to work under constant pressure and maintain a positive attitude
An analytical and lateral approach to problem solving and an ability to make logical and well reasoned decisions
To quickly build and maintain profitable sales and market share for Etihad.
To secure alliance business from key trade segments, including wholesale, retail chains, MICE, online portals etc.
Implement a defined monthly, quarterly and annual Sales and Marketing plan for alliance.
To drive the successful implementation of corporate initiatives.
Develop and implement systems to make the sales force effective.
To ensure sales activity is within the cost of sale targets and ensure all sales activity is recorded in
Monitor and analyse competitor activity and make recommendations to address shortcomings.
Reflect and ensure Etihad is well represented in all activity with the clients and in all relevant sales and marketing activity. Strategies developed are based on the nature of the demand and the behaviours of the segments served.
Keep abreast of industry and professional knowledge by reading publications networking and contributing to relevant groups and forums.
The Individual
The role will operate within a pressured environment with reduced lead times and often working out of office hours.
Regular travel across the network is also required to support various corporate initiatives
