Job Requirements
Software engineering position within the DFT Division. The DFT Division of Mentor Graphics provides industry leading tools for Automatic Test pattern Generation (ATPG), Memory and Logic BIST, generation of 1149.1 complaint logic, test data compression, and yield improvement, to a rapidly growing semiconductor market.
The candidate will be primarily responsible for logic test tools that include: Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), Embedded Deterministic Test (EDT), and Logic Built-In Self-Test (LBIST). The responsibilities also include generation and insertion of logic that helps in implementing robust and efficient new functionality to address some of the key issues faced by our customers related to test quality, test cost and low power, continuous effort to improve the quality and maintainability of the software, and relentlessly pursue product excellence.
Strong communication and organization skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently, yet effectively in a team setting.


Job Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree (fresh graduate or with some industrial experience), MS (with 4+ years of experience) or BS (with 6+ years of experience) degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with string background in Design-for-Test (DFT) and software engineering. A good understanding of scan DFT methodology, logic test techniques, and design flows used in the industry today are some of the key requirements.
