The Business Continuity Management (BCM) Analyst is expected to promote business continuity in the organization by demonstrating the benefits of the program's methodology, tools and capabilities. The individual is expected to have strong project management skills, be capable of independently driving projects to completion, be decisive and consistently demonstrate good business judgment. The Analyst must also be capable of working independently, as well as in a cross-functional team environment.

The individual must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, be results focused, manage their own work, and have a continuous improvement mindset and strategic perspective.

Aside from working with the other members of the NUSA BCM team, the position interfaces with all business continuity champions across the organization, business process owners and occasionally works with counterparts in the other North American OpCos; therefore, the individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Independently manage and develop Risk Assessment (RA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Recovery Plans (BRP) for all Nestlé USA (NUSA) business processes. Provide as required follow up support to ensure timely and quality completion of RA, BIA and BRPs. Understand the practical and strategic role of implemented BCM tools and integrate into them into the processes used to develop RA, BIA and BRPs.

* Assess, develop and deliver needed training on BCM methodology, programs and tools. Also responsible for ongoing maintenance updates of curriculum, as well as creation and maintenance of supporting materials. Periodically perform an assessment of organizational training needs and propose training recommendations to BCM lead.

* Develop, plan and coordinate all details regarding the periodic execution of business continuity exercises. This involves direct dealing with the business process owners and recovery team members. Specific activities include developing exercise scenarios, facilitating the sessions, documenting exercise results and conducting after action reviews and preparing exercise management summary letter for Sr. NUSA leadership. Manage process to ensure all post-exercise BRP changes are properly incorporated into plans and performing quality audits reviews to determine plan completeness.

* Oversee and manage NUSA BCM tools, which includes (but not limited to) eBRP and MIR3 NestléAlert. Develop and maintain required end user support materials (manuals, QRCs,). Ensure quality of master and meta data in all systems. Responsible for reviewing and setting controls in place over electronic access to data, business process information and plans.

* Evaluate NUSA BCM program and identify improvement opportunities. Develop and present business proposals to BCM lead to articulate opportunity, benefits and risks to organization, as well as provide and implementation options and plans.

* Manage and leverage NUSA BCM's relationship with its key suppliers in order to obtain maximum legitimate utility for Nestle, including day to day communications and project management. This includes supporting the BCM lead in contract negotiations.

* Hands on knowledge Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analysis, Business Recovery Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.

* Practical knowledge of business continuity principles as defined by the DRII and BCI.

* Understanding of National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS).

* Experience with business continuity management software.

* Computer skills: MS Windows, including intermediate Excel and Word, and basic PowerPoint and Access.

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Logistics, or related field

* Relevant industry certifications from Disaster Recovery
International Institute (DRII) and Business Continuity Institute (BCI)

* Minimum of 4 6 years of relevant business continuity experience and hands-on development of RA, BIA and BRPs within industry or consulting.

* Business Travel up to 25%.
