To continue our success, we are seeking an Operations Manager-Services Financial Control who has joint accountability and responsibility with the program teams of large services to achieve the "as sold" profitability margins. The main focus of the role is to implement, monitor and maintain the necessary financial controls within these large services programs to ensure that profitability objectives will be met.

What we will expect you to do:
Manage the project forecast to the "as sold" project budget and work together with the program team to correct any expected deviations through proper financial planning - identifying/justifying changes that will be tabled back to the client, identifying risk that has materialized that can be managed via the contract back to the customer, identifying cost savings. Joint financial accountability and responsibility for achieving "as sold" profitability on large services programs together with the program team. Responsibility for implementing the necessary financial controls to monitor and maintain the full financial forecast. Ensuring that the best practices as established by the business are deployed. Responsible for in-depth understanding of the contract and "as sold" cost model to ensure that the financial forecast can be managed to a comparative view and thus to drive changes back to the client. Responsible to identify and escalate any issues encountered to Service Operations Management that may impact the financial performance of the program together with recommendations on how to minimize the potential impact. Responsible to work with program teams to ensure only acceptable costs are approved. Required to work with the Operations Architect in the presales phase to verify the financial tracking model being prepared/proposed in anticipation of delivery and that it conforms to best practice and will facilitate the necessary tracking and cost controls of the program. Accountable for all financial work streams on the program even if performed by financial coordinators. Responsible to ensure that the program structure in Oracle Projects module is adequate to monitor and track the costs. Responsible to monitor the cost trends of surveys and deployments compared to work performed e.g. surveys completed, sites deployed and ensure that immediate corrective action is taken for any deviations compared to budget. Responsible to adequately maintain the necessary view of all cost timing differences so that on a daily basis we can determine the actual cost vs. forecast vs. as sold budget. Responsible to ensure best practices are applied to inventory management.
