The Sr. Project Manager # 002847 serves as an integral part of the Project Control Office to develop, implement and manage activities to meet organizational goals, and cost objectives. The qualified candidate plans, develops and administers procedures and templates. The candidate will provide oversight and assistance the day-to-day operations of the projects and train new Project Managers and existing Project Managers on new or changed Service offering.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will create, develop, and/or implement new concepts, systems, tools, and support materials that will enhance the sales & operation process. The candidate will oversee, track and report on field projects. They will be responsible for managing escalations by field project managers or project resources to resolution and be the primary interface to back office departments. They will also be responsible to plan, coordinate and chair project status meetings and document project activities and status meetings with NEC, supplier, subcontractor or customer.

The qualified candidate will assisting in preparing and processing complex change orders for field project managers. The candidate will be responsible for project accounting reviews throughout the month and monthly/quarterly/half reviews with accounting. They may be asked to prepare project documentation including project plans and budgets, correspondence, meeting minutes, status reports and project deliverables for new service offerings. The qualified candidate defines project parameters and creates activities and procedures to accomplish goals as defined by the project needs and trains other staff members on new solutions and how to manage the new solutions with the templates created. Strong communications skills are required to work with all levels of management and non-management, both internal and external. They will also train peers including other departments and managers on new processes and procedures. Planning and management activities that include short term, mid-term and long range planning for departmental needs. Individual must be highly organized with strong communication skills.
