Duties & Responsibilities
Harvard Business School seeks a seasoned professional to provide day-to-day management of projects, programs and services for the Information Management Program within Knowledge and Library Services (KLS). Working with the KLS Info Management Services (IMS) team, HBS IT Group, and HBS Marketing and Communications, leads project management of IMS team deliverables including the definition of IM requirements, the adoption of IM standards, and IM implementation. Supports the Director, IMS, as needed in the day-to-day management of the delivery of analytics, findability, search, metadata and taxonomy management products and services to multiple clients across HBS. Serves as the head of the IMS team in the absence of the Director. Other relevant duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent expereince in Information Management, Information Architecture, or Information Science. Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing information management, information architecture, or information services projects and/or programs. Proven project management skills, including with cross-organizational teams. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working both independently and as a team member and working with staff at various levels of the organization. Solid understanding of information and knowledge management and architecture principles and practices. Familiarity with standards and best practices in the areas of metadata management, tagging strategies, taxonomy implementation, findability and search, and analytics and KPI management. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent analytical and process management skills. Ability to take initiative and act independently while seeking input from subject matter experts as needed to make solid program recommendations. Ability to understand and balance user, business, information management practice, and IT needs at the program and project levels. Ability to think creatively and come up with creative solutions to challenges and problems.
