The Field Sales Account Executive � has dual accountabilities.
Field Sales management - is expected to lead, develop, coach and manage the Tasmanian Sales team.
Account Management � is expected to maintain strong relationships with,
Tasmanian Impulse wholesalers and together work on a program to deliver growth, and State Wholesale Cash N Carry develop state based promotional plans to drive and deliver growth and return on investment.

This role includes coordinating the sales team with consistent communication of the National Channel program. It also includes managing State wholesalers, their trading term agreements, maximising in store opportunities as well as building State based opportunities. This role is also responsible for strong execution of National plans in the State. The role will work collaboratively with the Tasmania State Account Executive.

The Field Sales Account Executive Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth through the achievement of call rates, agreed sales and distribution targets within the field sales team as well as delivering results with the wholesalers and Cash N Carry through managing the Impulse and state programs
Accountabilities


� Provide team members with leadership, coaching, training, motivation, regular documented performance reviews, annual performance appraisals and counselling to ensure they operate effectively with a minimum of supervision and to ensure succession planning
� Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to TM�s Sales Associates and Merchandisers via the use of the Scorecard (the �what� and the �how�) to develop their capability (skills, behaviour, knowledge, productivity) standards and performance (KPI's) through regular field visits and coaching days
� To ensure the effective management of Sales Associates / Merchandisers where appropriate in line with indirect expense targets / budget
� Ensure appropriate management of in-directs eg, mobile phone usage, kilometre reimbursement, petrol expenditure and travel and accommodation costs
� Ensure timely and effective execution of national and state priorities as agreed through the commercial planning process
� Ensure that company policies and approved practices are implemented where applicable and complied with by team members
� Ensure that company assets in the possession of the Territory Managers are effectively employed, maintained, cared for and accounted for as per policy.
� Develop and implement succession plans for direct reports that identify sales individuals with potential and their development for future positions.
� Actively participate in relevant commercial forums to ensure execution expectations are understood and to provide feedback on agreed field activity
� Maintain a programme of ongoing training of selling skills in field and in team meetings, supported by continuous updates of product and company knowledge embedding selling skills programs.
Pre-Requisites


� The position requires current and comprehensive knowledge of company products, services, policies and procedures.
� This position also requires developed people management skills in assessing behavior and providing constructive feedback, well developed verbal and written communication skills.
� Success will be achieved in this role through a demonstration of strong planning and organisation skills.
� The ability to understand and work within budgeted costs.
� Proven experience with implementing sales and marketing programs.
� You must hold a valid current drivers licence with proven safe driving record
� The ability to lead a diverse team and have strong coaching skills is essential.
� You will have high levels of self motivation and enjoy inspiring your team.
