Designer - Brand Guidelines - Brand & Marketing Studio, Soho

This is a role of a lifetime, working for a major global brand. As the Art Director of Brand Guidelines, you'll be responsible for guidelining Nokia's brand identity and the look of all global advertising for Nokia brand.

Headed by the Director, Brand and Marketing Studio to whom this new role reports. The team is now seeking a brand new Global Art Director to join them. You'll join a high profile global team covering graphic design, digital design, copywriting, imagery and brand innovation.

Key to this role is the capacity to design brand guidelines in collaboration with your team and our design agencies. You'll be ultimately accountable for covering the full spectrum of branding; logo usage, typography, graphic design, colours, imagery style, tone of voice, copyright lines, execution examples - just to mention a few.
You'll work closely with agencies, briefing guidelines and overseeing their executions, providing real-time feedback to advertising executions and be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating all Nokia brand guidelines in brand book and Uusi magazine. You will design selected high profile, best practice brand executions, such as critical keynotes, brand presentations, event key visuals and key advertisements.

Alongside this you will be communicating with our key stakeholders in briefings and e-mail. Coaching our agencies, reviewing our advertising executions and directing them to do their best work yet.

It's a demanding but enormously rewarding role where you can really make a difference, being in charge of the design of brand guidelines for a global brand.
It's essential you have a solid understanding of successful brand guidelining and creating cohesive, high impact branding. Of course most importantly you'll need to be able to show you have superb, hands-on skills and an impeccable taste in graphic design, typography, print and digital technologies, capable of producing flawless visual executions.

You'll need to be able to express the brand guidelines in written English, and feel comfortable presenting them in front of large executive creative audiences
