This position�s key purpose is to create, execute and evaluate customer marketing strategy and programs to maximize revenue and profitability. This position requires effective communication with our customer�s marketing and merchandising personnel as well as various cross-functional departments within Kraft.

Woolworths has a multi-layered calendar with their Lead Themes and an insight driven Occasion Based Marketing Strategy. By supporting and driving the Woolworths themes, it is possible to gain further scale on our Big Hitters.

Given the need to align with Woolworths calendar strategy, the role needs to ensure full integration of the complete consumer marketing plan into the strategic customer business planning process by leveraging programmes that include category management co -operations as well as co-marketing initiatives supported by strong Shopper Insights.


Aid achievement of AOP targets of net operating revenue, Available Profit and volume for the Woolworth�s business
Lead the strategic development and execution of a Customer Marketing plan that feeds out of the Consumer and Category Strategy that is in line with Customer Strategies and Calendar Focus.

Participating and completion of SOP with both NBM Confectionery and Grocery, include clear customer marketing plan for the channel and category to support delivery of initiatives
Represent and lead marketing in Account Team initiatives including planning, channel strategy and multi-brand product promotion, while networking with Kraft Foods internal contacts as required.

As the marketing leader within the Account Team, make the necessary tradeoffs to ensure that effective use of resources occurs across Channels and categories to achieve Kraft Australia objectives.

Lead communication and build account relationship with key marketing, category marketing and merchandising representatives within Woolworths.
Develop and pitch customised proposals to the marketing and business teams that drive total/cross-category business program to increase the RSV opportunity for Woolworths and our share within this initiative.

Develop approved ideas to a full program in conjunction with the Account Team from implementation through to evaluation.

Manage POS budgets in developing effective solutions agreed with Retailers to improve category consumption, implement with Retailer. Wherever possible, align Woolworths Look and Feel with our POS for stronger instore engagement with themes.
Maintain in depth knowledge of the industry, competitive environment, customer and consumer trends and issues.


University degree
Profound knowledge of Australian trade structure
Good understanding of ECR demand methods and tools
Deep understanding of full marketing mix and complete sales process
Developed understanding of market research methods and tools
