Systems Integration Sr Advisor
Sydney, NS, Australia

Purpose:
Our Microsoft Platforms Technical Consultant is responsible for working directly with customers to assess, design and implement optimal technical solutions across the Microsoft Infrastructure platforms stack. A primary responsibility of the role will be to propose and implement technologies and migration strategies that transition enterprise environments into Dell lines of business. The consultant will utilize their highly developed business acumen to present the business value of their technical recommendations in an ROI based manner. The consultant will work directly with executive and senior level decision makers as well as IT operations staff throughout the billable consulting and delivery phases in this highly visible role.

Profile and Experience
General:
In addition to detailed design level skills, migration strategy and project delivery experience, the position requires highly developed communication and influencing skills at IT Director/CIO level (Oral and Written). The consultant is responsible for consulting level document delivery as well as hands on execution of design and implementation. The consultant must have highly developed experience in the creation of technical business cases, process diagrams, migration strategies and technical/project delivery. The consulting engagements follow a structured process including interviewing clients, analysing data and then constructing findings and recommendations. Responsibilities include developing and presenting comprehensive analysis and documentation of the customer’s “As Is” state of operations and recommendations for optimal “To Be” state. This requires proficiency in creating and operating ROI & TCO models. Consultants will also design and implement the technical recommendations. They must be detail oriented, with strong verbal, written, analytical, and communication capabilities.

Practise
The consultants require a high degree of self-motivation, and must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Individuals are expected to maintain current understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Office Communications Server, SQL and Systems Centre. Candidates should be able to assume leadership on engagements and work without direct supervision, interfacing with customer IT and business-function leaders. The team also works closely with various technical and project teams to identify and resolve issues, and mitigate customer impact during engagements.

● Min. 3 Years Consulting Experience

● Demonstrable executive communication skills

Technical
