Job Purpose
To oversee the management of the aviation security Regulatory Compliance and Training Development of Etihad Airways, by managing a team of AVSEC regulatory experts to ensure compliance with local and international regulators rendering Etihad Airways compliant to operate across the network.

Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
Lead the AVSEC RC&T sections responsible for aviation security operational documentation and training development ensuring Etihad Airways compliance to all regulators requirements such as GCAA, TSA, DOTARS, etc.

Oversee the development and maintenance of the Air Operator Security Programme (AOSP), Station’s Security Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) ensuring it meets the approval of the local and international regulator’s requirements.
Effectively manage the RC&T section ensuring all deadlines are met and all AVSEC regulatory changes are effectively addressed, incorporated and disseminated accordingly.

Focal point for all AVSEC Audits and inspections by local and international Regulators, ensure successful results.
Responsible for the successful retention of the IOSA certification from AVSEC perspective.

Responsible for the Quality Control of all AVSEC Documentation and AVSEC Training across the airline.

Collaborate and liaise all EY departments concerning AVSEC regulatory compliance; i.e. Safety, Quality, Technical, Flight Operation, Cabin Crew, Ground Service, Training… ensuring optimum delivery and efficiency in the implementation of AVSEC requirements.

Responsible to the Head of AVSEC by aiming for zero AVSEC findings and the timely closure of all findings
Oversee the Development and maintenance for the EY Aviation Security Website as one stop shop for aviation security operational documentations and Etihad security publications such as security programes, procedures, advisories, bulletins.
Responsible for the management and efficient utilization of a cost center within the AVSEC budget, implementing cost saving measures to improve efficiency

You should have minimum of 10 years or more in the Aviation Industry with no less than 5 years of Aviation Security Management.

In addition, you are required to have the following:
University Graduate or equivalent Diploma in Aviation Security.
Business management, Airport and Airline Operations, AVSEC Specialist, Anti-terrorism, Emergency Response and preferably Law Enforcement background. International Aviation Security Regulations/Standards knowledge is a must. Technical writing and computer literacy skills are essential.
