As the National Account Manager you will be responsible for specific accounts and their corresponding planning, quotas and results. Other duties will include account administration, and training as to deliver on departmental and organizational wide objectives.


Sales Quotas & Results
Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achieved
Listing of core and premium skus by category
Develop account profile– key contacts / revenue /LG revenue /competitors
Create revenue plan by account with buyer – Forecasting 120 days out
Deliver action plan by account to achieve target revenues
Weekly account schedule to review inventory and ad plans
Expand LG line in all categories
Provide timely competitive information to head office
Ensure proper brand message is delivered in all materials

ie. Flyer, ROP, Web, Radio, In-Store
Develop account specific promotional plans 120 days out
Prepare and deliver high quality presentations and proposals tailored to each client
Maintain existing business by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and agencies

Actively prospect for and develop new business opportunities
Relationship Development: Build rapport with key account contracts (buyers, marketing, operations, etc.)

Account Planning & Strategy: weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews
Marketing Activities: Coordinate marketing efforts with account and internal (LG) contracts

Forecasting (CPFR): to help plan inventory requirements
Development of Promotional Calendar: Collaborate with the account to develop sell-through events to profitability drive the business
New Product Launch: Develop work-back schedules and manage launch activities.
Work with internal teams, colleagues, and managers to develop creative solutions and integrated sales programs for clients
Respond to queries and follow up on all client calls and emails
Update and maintain all account history and activity reports

Manage inventory and sell-thru activity
Gap analysis by major account to find opportunities
Market analysis worksheet – to be continually updated on monthly basis
Revenue and share data by category including market trends- weekly
Service related issues
RA and DOA issues
Credit related concerns
Maintain proactive relationship with order desk counterpart
Pre and Post Meeting Files for accurate after action plans
Managing multi-level relationships at assigned accounts
Keeping senior management abreast of all areas of development
Self-Improvement & Training
Memorize LG product knowledge and related materials
Maintain expert knowledge of key competitors in key growth categories
Keep abreast of industry related m/s information
Keep up to date on market changes thru the following
E-learning, industry magazines, sales related materials, trade shows, etc


Education Level and/or Experience:
University education and minimum of 5 years sales experience serving large national retailers

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of Canadian major appliance business, or related consumer durables business

Other Requirements:
Maintain a professional manner at all times
Including customers and LG colleagues
Exceptional presentation skills; both external and internal
Highly proficient with Excel, Power Point, etc.
