Job Purpose

You will be responsible for maintenance of financial books in accordance with internationally accepted accounting standards and ensure the compliance with Company’s policies and procedures. In addition, you will be mnaging and planning the various functions in Financial Account unit which includes General Ledger, Revenue Accounting, Payables, Fixed Assets and Materials Accounting.

Responsibilities

In addition to above, you will also be accountable for:
managing the personnel involved in their respective functions and exercises authority in order to ensure efficient control over various processes involved.
reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements for management use.

managing monthly and annual accounts closing activities.
responsible for ensuring adequate internal controls are in place in the system.
liaising with stakeholders both internal and external to the organization in order to aide in efficient functioning of various sections of Finance Dept.
enhancing of system reporting tools.

reviewing the various business processes with regards to Finance Dept. and recommending enhanced and efficient way of doing various tasks.
managing, planning and supporting various activities of other functions in finance such as Payables, Revenue Accounting, Outstations, Fixed Assets, and Treasury.
providing financial information and statistics to Financial Accounts Manager as may be necessary.

Requirements

You should have minimum of 10 years post qualification experience with a reputable firm (preferably Big 4). In addition, you should have minimum of 4 years managerial experience in large multinational organisation and continuous IFRS compliance knowledge as a mandatory requirement.

In addition, you are required to have the following:
CA from a reputable Institute of Chartered Accountants
Bachelor of Commerce

Extensive technical knowledge in Financial Accounting & Analysis and detailed knowledge of all modules in financial related tool
Knowledge in Oracle Financials
Knowledge in MS Office tools.
