Job Purpose
Manage the recruitment and training of the appropriate number of employees (Emirati and non-Emirati) across Retail Sales to achieve agreed service levels. Plan and ensure delivery of all ongoing training. Ensure the development of all Retail Sales employees at all levels to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue results.

You will be responsible to:
Manage the recruitment of Retail Sales staff in coordination with the HR team and actively participate in the assessment process. Liaise with the Emiratisation team to ensure recruitment of UAE nationals to agreed levels.

Evaluate the assessment process and redesign appropriately to suit the developing needs of the business.
Maintain the relationship on behalf of Retail Sales with the EY academy and any third party training providers.

Plan and manage the training of all new hire courses.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the new hire training programme and develop in cooperation with the Academy to best suit the needs of the business.
Support the team leaders and performance managers globally to assess learning and development needs and ensure all staff have a development plan and a bi- annual iAchieve review. Coach and develop team leaders and Retail Sales managers to effectively lead and develop their teams.

Plan and manage the learning and development needs of the Retail Sales teams. Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of staff training and development. Liaise with the Retail Sales Managers to understand all necessary aspects and needs of staff training and development.
Support the Emiratisation team in the development of UAE Nationals within Retail Sales and selection for progression within the business.

Lead the external Sales Training programme for Retail Sales ensuring the appropriate content and scheduling of all Retail staff to attend.

Maintain the relationship on behalf Retail Sales with the HR business partner. Make recommendations for HR policy and procedures to support the needs of the Retail business.
Manage and evaluate the sales incentive program to stimulate revenue.

You are required to have the following:
5 years experience in Retail / Airline Sales or a related service environment, of which 3 years must include people management experience in a volume area.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment essential.
A high level of understanding the airline market, travel industry and people management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent in English.
High computer literacy.
