Lead System Architect

DUTIES:

Responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of PRPC based solutions across client, partner or Pega led projects. Accountable for ensuring business and technical architecture of delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements.

Provide thought-leadership to fellow team members and the client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements, including scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, UAT and production deployment. Ensure delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed. Work in conjunction with Engagement Leader to size, manage scope and risk. Act as mentor to all team members on their assigned project tasks.

Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to GCS and/or Product engineering. Participate in the development of additional consulting opportunities within the customer base. Responsible for customer success (realization of business benefit).

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and 7 years general system development experience. Will accept Master’s degree and 4 years general system development experience in lieu of BS degree plus 7 years experience. Requires at least 4 years PRPC experience. Requires experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large scale Java centric enterprise application systems. Requires experience with J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java). Requires experience with Oracle and / or DB2. Requires experience with MS/SQL. Requires experience with Websphere or Weblogic Application Server. Requires OO experience. Requires knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features. Requires extensive travel.

40 hours/week, $103,500.80 to $138,123 / year
