Job Purpose: Accountable for successful project delivery and customer realization of business benefits across the portfolio of accounts. Lead a team of Engagement Leaders managing projects including Pega, partner or client led implementations. Actively contribute to project success within portfolio by actively engaging in the project governance process, coaching Engagement Leaders, and by serving as an escalation point for issue resolution as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for business development within assigned portfolio of accounts. This includes both License and Services permeation and radiation.
• Enabling new account pursuit activities with the sales force including solution conceptualization, project and implementation sizing, writing work orders and obtaining client signature and support.
• Act as a “closer” in business development process for services work orders.
• Develop a weekly project focused revenue forecast. Responsibilities include interfacing with sales and clients to define the iterative components of the overall solution roadmap, estimating project cost & duration, and managing opportunities through the financial forecast cycle.
• Facilitate license pipeline growth by actively listening for and capturing new license opportunities in target accounts
• Represent Professional Services as the leader at account. Provide quality assurance for assigned team of PS staff as they:
• Structure implementation approach for new opportunities, including definition of “Week 1”, sliver or iterative development strategy, staffing strategy (client, alliance partner and Pega participation) and quantification of business benefits (ROI).
• Direct project delivery including project progress tracking, change control, and the overall governance process.
• Access, secure and leverage appropriate resources (including the proposal clinic, staffing calls, triage and situation management, support, and partners) to ensure successful delivery.
• Deliver the sold project margin goal by managing write-offs and staff assignments within the project budget
• Actively participate in client project governance activities.
• Achieve quarterly revenue and margin contribution goals across their assigned portfolio.
• Contributes and helps to drive Industry / Regional strategy within their PS organization. Strategy to include repeatable and reusable services approach, sales, framework development, organizational requirements, staff development, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BA / BS – Technical Degree; MBA optional
• PMP Certification optional
• Minimum 10 years experience in professional services project management roles.
• PRPC Certification (within 6 months of joining Pega)

Degree of Financial Responsibility:

• Sales Quota
• Establish and manage financials

Travel Requirements:
• More than 75% travel

• PRPC Fast Track (FT) and Bootcamp (BC) for Certified System Architect (CSA) certification
• Methodology Essentials for Certified Methodology Black Belt
• Business Architect Essentials (BAE) Training for Certified Business Architect (CBA) certification

Can be located anywhere in the US. Must be able to travel to client sites 100% of time.
