Job Purpose
Develop strategies and implement new processes to maximize and transform productivity, drive revenue and improve customer service within the Retail Sales organization. To establish efficient, project management processes and procedures in line with the Retail Sales strategy and business plans to support the implementation.

You will be responsible to:
Implement the Retail Sales strategy and plans to deliver budgeted sales revenues across all locations. Support revenue and budgetary targets set for Retail Sales through delivery and implementation of projects to drive revenue, improve customer service and build a firm foundation for future strategic growth.

Manage the revenue performance and P&L of each location and target break even within the first 12 months of operation for any new location.

Develop the sales and promotional plans for each location including the promotional launches for any new locations. Develop, negotiate and implement the sponsorship relationship with each Mall in conjunction with Marketing and roll out multiple promotional programs in each Mall throughout the year to drive sales, increase income margins and achieve profitability.

Analyse the market opportunities for each location and continue to develop the value proposition for Retail Sales.

Develop business cases, specifically the assessment of business requirements, the evaluation of benefits versus costs and the impact on revenue and customer service.
Drive the business change process across the Retail Sales teams expanding products, services and ancillary revenue opportunities.

Submit project plans and agree with the GM Retail Sales in order to define processes and procedures, identify key milestones, critical paths and deliverables
Develop an internal and external communication plan to promote the new service model operated by Retail Sales.

Prepare and submit periodic performance reports to GM Retail Sales.

You are required to have the following:
5 years experience in the airline/retail sales environment with a major company and a minimum of three years in a senior or managerial role.
Experience in an incentive based reward and recognition sales culture is required.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is essential.
Comprehensive understanding of retail selling principles and distribution channels.
A good level of understanding of the airline market and travel industry.
A good understanding of the profitability drivers in retail travel industry.
