Job Purpose
Responsible to ensure that all guests are offered the highest level of hospitality during their travel experience at Manchester Airport, in particular during the time they spend visiting the lounge.

Ensure company standards / rules are maintained with regards to the handling of guests, grooming procedures, time keeping, training etc. inc food and beverage, catering service excellence and delivery to premium and Vip guests of the airline.

You will responsible to:

Establish and utilize a professional working relationship in all areas of communication and public relations with all Etihad Airport Services, sales, ticketing and reservations and local authorities in order to provide smooth handling of all guests. (Maintain at all time.).

Diamond and Pearl zone guests are met, greeted and escorted, also extend the necessary courtesy required within the standard of the Host of Guest in the premium lounge./ in a consistent way that meets the requirements of allEtihad groundservices. Delivering exceptional and excellent fine dining experience to our guests.

Provide information and guidance to the guests of flight schedules, airline formalities in order to reflect a knowledgeable quality of service.Inc the airport facilities pertaining to the individual airport
Take a personal interest to listen to the needs of the guests and meet their requirements. Attend and brief all guests using the lounge facilities , procedures for boarding and facilities available to ensure a pleasant stay at the lounge, followed by on time boarding formalities . Inc using personality and initiative , being culturally aware of all nationalities and cultures/diversities.

Staff should attend to the guest and offer maximum attention and care to the guest requiring special handling (WCHR, VIP’s, UMNR, YP and mothers with infants), guests on delayed flights and denied boarding situations on our flights. Being confidential
Monitor usage and conditions of all items at the lounge and requirements, maintenance and change in order to ensure that the lounge facilities is upto standard projected to our guests. Report any faults directly to the department concerned. Inc being resilient and knowledgable to the Airline s history and brand.

Monitor, coach, train and provide feedback for staff and management on staff performance to ensure company procedures with regard to conduct, grooming and time keeping are followed. Be updated and informed of all company procedures and updates pertaining to the guest experience and comfort.
You should be educated up to A-level / IB / GCSE (General Certificate in Secondary Education). Microsoft Office skills would be an catering school/college/ evidence of career history in the service customer industry.

You are required to have the following:
Minimum 3 years or more in related field/or 3+ years in an environment of premium dining /catering/hospitality/5* hotel
Passenger Handling / DCS System / Grooming / Customer service inc VIP experience and Middle eastern culture
Basic knowledge of DCS (Departure Control System), departure and arrival procedures as well as basic reservations i.e. to retrieve PNR, add comments and confirm reservations.

Language skills : German and English fluently spoken and written
Work permit for Germany
