Position Description

Job Summary
Strategic focus and attention to supporting brand team activities around the management of existing products and contributing to the development of new products. Special projects and meeting preparation through systems such as ESKO, EXCEL, PowerPoint Provides support to the marketing head. Acts as the team liaison and contact person for shared information across departments and ensures cross departmental activities are met efficiently and productively.

Job Requirements:
BA/BS Degree
1-2 years previous work/internship experience; consumer goods experience a plus.
PC Skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet.
Business Acumen - Knowledgeable of products, practices, trends, and issues and their nuances between
Cultural Attitude — Appreciation for culture, arts, creative mindset and conceptual design
Product Development — Understands and contributes to the process of launching a new product, starting from R&D through its launch to the worldwide market
Project and Time Management — Ability to set goals and finish deliverables on time
Data Analysis — i.e. worldwide competitive, market and sales
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent oral/written communication skills.
Superb customer service orientation.
Attention to detail, quality conscious.
Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
Flexible; can work in a fast-paced environment, proactive approach to projects.
Language skills a plus, but not required.
Creativity a plus.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
· Contribute to the development of category/brand strategies while fully owning select Marketing projects
· Play a part in innovation by suggesting ideas
· Learn about L’Oréal culture and Marketing processes
· Responsible for all artwork trafficking and coordination
· Liaison with industrial teams regarding packaging, COG and lead times
· Interact effectively with other departments to build networks and support the product development process
· Gain exposure to brand media strategy and local advertising
· Track POs and invoices.
· Provide support to the head of marketing in regard to budget, meeting planning, travel, etc.
· Collect, compare and synthesize international competitive and consumer data and make recommendations to management
· Perform forecasting, consumption, shipment and inventory analyses in preparation for meetings
· Assist in the day-to-day operations and support execution of processes
· Assists in creative development (concept writing and name generation)
