Job Purpose
With the growth in the Etihad business is an increasing number of Etihad employees based at outstations and across different countries and locations; in October 2011 this number stood at 15% of all employees (1,300), 45 countries and 69 different locations. This position is a key member of the HR Shared Services management team with responsibility to:

Lead the effective and efficient delivery of HR shared services functions for outstations in-ordination with key HR, Finance and other divisional stakeholders; this includes: establishing standards and controls for payroll, employee and manager administration, position/headcount administration; and driving continuous improvement of core processes ensuring they are fit for purpose for outstation delivery

You will responsible to:
In partnership with the HR BP team, ensure effective processes and controls are in place to enable the effective management of headcount in line with budget and related out-of-cycle approvals; design and deliver appropriate position MI and reporting for stakeholders

Manage Outstation employee data in the system and control system updates. Ensure compliance as per policy and Audit requirements
Identify and deliver on key enablers for country start-up ensuring all processes are in place for the delivery of HR services in country in line with the HR plan.
Ensure HR systems meets business requirements ie self-service & management reporting etc and lead system implementations and enhancement for outstations in co-ordination with HR system team & HRBP

Partner with Finance to establish/improve outstation Payroll controls to deliver a whole of company payroll quality control environment and KPIs along with regular reporting to key stakeholders; Implement Term Sheet changes in co-ordination with Head of HR and Policy and Reward Department.

Manage annual Pay for Performance implementation for outstations and communication to International HR and Finance Managers. Liaise with Head of HR and ensure timely process and payment of Sales Incentive, bonus and other incentives
Manage process of International assignment/International transfers with a focus on the employee experience and ensure timely completion and effective communication to all relevant parties

Manage process of employee changes for outstations which includes receiving employee change requests, letter preparation, system updates and communication to line manager and finance managers.

Implement service reviews with customers and deliver specialist service to outstation employees within Service Level Agreements, identify areas for improvement in order to maintain these agreements.

Qualification & Education:

University degree and preferably post-graduate with specialization in HR

5-7 years relevant international HR experience in a large/multi-national organization, demonstrating increasing levels of managerial responsibility.
Training & Knowledge:

International HR policies and procedures
Int’l Labor Law and taxation knowledge
Advanced Computer skills particularly MS Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint
Preferably Oracle HRMS functional knowledge & Payroll
Fluent in both spoken and written English
