Job Purpose
This role is key to develop leadership and development capabilities of senior and supervisory cabin crew. The job holder is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of inspirational training interventions. Lead and manage a team of full and part-time facilitators to ensure that quality and consistency of design and delivery and provides feedback to individuals to constantly improve and drive the best performance.

Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure programs are developed to respond to business priorities. Enables cabin crew development training to be cohesive in building leadership capabilities from cabin senior through to cabin manager.

Responsibilities
Leads and manages a team of facilitators to deliver leadership courses that build on the skills and experience as the crew develop through the business.
Coach, develop and provide feedback to Facilitators on performance to form part of the appraisal management system.

Develop and implement training manuals that ensures all the leadership and promotional courses are delivered in the style and tone that reflects Etihad brand values consistently.

Implement for all training courses accurate and up to date training plans with trainer notes and version identification.

Provide feedback and assessment to all facilitators to ensure that they are consistently striving to d Assess, evaluate and certify trainees on courses conducted both in-house and by external out-sourced trainers. Provide one on one coaching and reassessing where required for trainees who have failed to meet the required standards.

Monitor and ensure that all standards of grooming are maintained whilst in the Training Academy including facilitators and trainees.
Undertake any required projects as required by Etihad Airways within the Training Academy.

Liaise closely with Learning and Development within HR to ensure alignment and consistency of approach to building a leadership model

Requirements

You are required to have the following:

A minimum of 2 years experience in a training role in the aviation sector.
Experience in Cabin Crew and Ground Operations in a management capacity
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Developed skills in presenting information in a structured manner
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to observe and give motivational and development feedback
Report writing ability
Coaching skills

The following experience would be an advantage:
Training Manager or Duty Manager in Ground Operations or Cabin Crew Management
Management and supervisory experience in a service related industry
Customer service training with a legacy airline
Delivery of management training modules
Working for a legacy airline with at least a Business Class and Economy Class product and “dine on demand” concept
Course and program design
Management training skills and course design
