APAC Operations Manager

Key Result Areas:

The APAC Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing, deploying and managing the execution of the policies, processes and procedures necessary for the Asia Pacific organization to meet its objectives. This position will be responsible for identifying operational issues and will participate in the development of policies, processes and procedures to address and maximize operational efficiencies across the Asia Pacific Sales, Consulting, Alliances and Professional Services organizations. This position will play a key advisory role for business issues, strategies and planning tasks to the Vice President.

A critical success in this role will be the ability to provide efficient support to all Asia Pacific organizations and work collaboratively with other groups across the organization and externally with Pega’s Alliance Partners.

Key Functions Include:
Develop, implement and manage all operational aspects for the APAC region leveraging corporate best practices; play key advisory role to the leader of APAC.
Analyze and interpret both detailed transaction-level data and high-level operational reporting with emphasis on identifying root cause of key variances, exceptions, etc. at all levels within APAC region.

Work with corporate Finance, Sales, and Service Operations to establish and manage key financial performance metrics, targets, and tracking processes to be used for performance measurement.

Prepare, analyze and manage the regional sales and service forecast.
Collaborate with the Sales Compensation team, Human Resources and Finance on the implementation and measurement of compensation plans.

Support and drive sales technology adoption across all APAC employees, overseeing compliance and management through technology. Look for future opportunities to enhance all sales and services systems.

Develop/ revise and implement business controls, policies, procedures and best practices in to maximize sales performance and comply with corporate policy.
Ensure financial and payroll for the region are managed in line with local laws and practices
Facilities management

Sphere of Influence:
The role requires interaction at the senior management level, internal cross-functional and Channel Partners, to ensure effective execution of the sales plan and strategy.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree, MBA or other relevant master’s degree preferred.

Type of Experience and Minimum Number of Years:
Minimum 10 years relevant business experience with at 5 + years managing operations and complex processes– ideally with broad experience in a variety of operational and support roles. Must have experience working closely with senior executives. Previous sales operations management experience preferred. Multi-lingual a plus.

Travel Requirements:
Minimal, infrequent travel
