Job Description: Principal Engineers at Intel are active technical leaders inside and outside the company. Responsibilities include carrying out formal verification of design blocks for Intel microprocessors as part of Intel's Formal Verification Center of Expertise. This job requires close interaction with design teams to verify mostly arithmetic functional blocks and proliferation of the verification methodologies to other design teams at Intel. The team uses a combination of theorem proving and model checking technologies to accomplish their goals. Development of advanced verification methodologies is an essential part of this job.


The candidate should have ten to fifteen years of experience in the application of formal methods to various aspects of microprocessor verification. Demonstrated technology leadership through pioneering of novel verification technologies is a must. A history of relevant publications is desirable. An advanced graduate degree MS/PhD in computer science and/or mathematics is essential.

Education Requirement: MS/PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or mathematics.
