- Work cross functionally, internal and external to SWQA, as the Owner for Handheld and Tablet project, Own planning and execution of all aspects of the project ; This involves collaborating with SWQA staff, internal, and external stakeholders to develop and drive to overall program objectives, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
- Own developing and maintaining existing and new test plan as per the project plan.
- Drive the staffing and execution for Windows Handheld and Tablet product deliverables.
- Work with the QA leadership team to establish internal processes and improvements for SWQA Handheld and Tablet team.
- Create comparative analysis with similar products in the market and drive product improvements thru request for enhancements mechanisms.
- Drive automation content development with internal QA teams and ensure automation is delivering the goals and scope required for the success of the project.
- Drive organizational and personnel development plans within the GPU-SWQA organization.
- Continually drive the WOT team towards efficiency and effectiveness via clear KO and KPIs.
- Establish key performance metrics, and work with WOT team, to deploy actionable improvement plans.
- Build broad cross organizational relationships, and leverage them to insure excellent communication and execution.
- Ability to provide leadership & technical guidance to others.

- A proven history of successfully managing SWQA organizations preferred if related to SW and HW Chips, experience in handheld and tablet product is a plus.
- Requires BS/MS Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent and 5+ years management experience.
- Experience in and strong understanding of Quality and Quality Assurance methodologies and practices.
- Experience SWQA Manager, and proven success driving and developing teams.
- Must be detail oriented with a proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
- Excellent understanding of the mobile market needs and the end users requirements is a must.
- Previous experience in testing Handheld or Tablets with Android and/or Linux OS is desirable.
- Strong collaborative nature and ability to understand and negotiate tradeoffs.
- Experience working with remote teams is a plus.
- Ability to work and lead in an interdepartmental team environment is a must.
- Excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, written & verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work when the job requires off-hours to work with remote teams.
