Title Account Manager - System Device Sales

Description Under limited supervision, responsible for all facets of end-user account and relationship management by building sales,meeting and exceeding sales quotas and increasing Epson brand awareness and market penetration and developing and coordinating sales activity to identified end-user customers within a defined territory. Collaborates with key customers including, End-User, Value Added Resellers, Original Equipment Manufacturers and other Business Partners.

Principal accountabilities to include:

Builds Sales
Meets and exceed sales and product objectives in territory by effectively utilizing all resources available.
Collaborates with Territory Manager in development of sales plan.
Establishes a strong Epson presence within account base at decision maker and management level.

Develops contacts in target accounts through prospecting in designated territory.
Follows-up on all leads provided by the company.
Interacts with all appropriate internal and external customers to insure successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies with the customer.
Identifies and understands the customer’s needs and provides solutions using Epson products, programs and services.

Leverages Epson channel partners whenever possible and prevents channel conflict.
Demonstrates products to new and existing customers.
Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs Epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers’ purchases and other business activities in the near and distant future.

Identifies and understands the customer’s needs and provides solutions using Epson products, programs and services.
Works with manager to design, create, and implement marketing programs that achieve desired product mix and ROI.
Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs Epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers’ purchases and other business activities in the near and distant future.
Identifies sales training needs of account and prepares training in conjunction with the Sales Training Department.
Resolves customer issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate.

Description Technical Support Specialist

Responsible for providing technical / pre-sales support on Epson product lines regarding usability, installation, and configuration to ensure high customer satisfaction. Communication with customers will be via both telephone and email response, and assisting the product support team by testing software and drivers.

Represents Epson America, Inc. (EAI) through professional verbal and written communications
Responds promptly to technical questions and issues (telephone, email, and letters) for all Epson product lines to ensure high customer satisfaction
Responds promptly to escalations received from key customers
Duplicates technical issues as part of investigation and resolution of customer inquiries; escalates unresolved usability issues as appropriate
Ensures accurate data entry into customer call logs
Participate in the validating of technical bulletins, firmware, drivers, and other updates

Conducts software driver testing for Macintosh and Windows operating systems
With guidance from Product Specialists, prepares technical content for inclusion in product support documents

Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives

Primary interface of Legal Affairs Department to Finance Department and Seiko Epson Corp. on budget and A/P issues. Collaborates with key customers, including in-house legal staff and support staff, Epson administrative and finance staff, sales, marketing, service and outside counsels administrative and finance staff and occasionally, outside counsel on substantive matters.

Processes accounts payable and debit/credit memoranda, including obtaining approvals from other departments, Seiko Epson Corp. departments and resolving billing problems with outside vendors etc.
