Job Purpose

You will be responsible for maintenance of financial books in accordance with internationally accepted accounting standards and ensure the compliance with Company’s policies and procedures. In addition, you will be mnaging and planning the various functions in Financial Account unit which includes General Ledger, Revenue Accounting, Payables, Fixed Assets and Materials Accounting.

In addition to above, you will also be accountable for:
managing the personnel involved in their respective functions and exercises authority in order to ensure efficient control over various processes involved.

managing monthly and annual accounts closing activities.
responsible for ensuring adequate internal controls are in place in the system.
liaising with stakeholders both internal and external to the organization in order to aide in efficient functioning of various sections of Finance Dept.
enhancing of system reporting tools.

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for preparing all of the monthly financial statements of Etihad Airways and subsidiary. In addition, oversee all accounts ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements, maintain internal control safeguards and co-ordinate all audit activities.


Responsibilities

In addition to above, you will also be accountable for:
reporting of consolidated financial statements of Etihad Group companies
liaising with Statutory Auditor, Internal Auditor, Government Auditors and Tax auditor of Etihad Airways and it’s Group companies

effective utilization of sub ordinates for review and analysis accounts and provide them guidelines for quality checking of all the schedules.
participating in preparation of the annual budget of subsidiary companies, reviews monthly expenditures and ensure that budgetary targets are met
identifying, review and analyze the finance policy, procedure and process and make proposal for changes as appropriate.

interacting with senior management to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations

managing tax compliance with outstation finance team and arranging to provide financial information for filing of tax returns with local tax authority of various countries

Job Purpose
The Head of Pilot Performance reports to the Senior Vice President of Operations and is responsible for all non-technical aspects of pilot performance. This role holds overall responsibility for ensuring that non-technical aspects of pilot performance are managed, monitored, and recorded within the Etihad performance management system. The scope of the role includes management of attendance, discipline, grievance matters, pastoral support, career development and, in conjunction with the Crew Resource Department, pilot resource planning.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

Management of pilot communications. Proactive provision of information and responses to pilots to ensure timely and accurate delivery of facts regarding all non-technical issues

Supervision and management of the Manager Line Operations to achieve the highest possible standards of pilot performance management. Monitoring, tracking and management of pilot absence to safely achieve the highest possible levels of pilot productivity and support. Monitoring of pilot line activity through i-Reports, NOC Logs and Crew Control Logs.
