Job Purpose
To supervise the landside operation delivering an optimum guest experience at all ‘touch points’. Acts as a senior point of liaison for third party customer service staff ensuring that Etihad Airways ground handling requirements and customer service standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities
You wiYou will be responsible to:
Supervise and control flight-handling activities such as flight editing, check-in, transfers, boarding etc, in order to ensure an optimum standard of guest service, ensuring that all ground services business is delivered in accordance with the Etihad values.

Act as point of liaison for 3rd party check-in staff ensuring that resources provided are aligned with the SLA.
Responsible for the design and implementation of effective rosters which meet operational and legal requirements.

Conduct SLA audits on the landside operation and feed back the findings to the Airport Manager and GHA staff.

Will take an active role in Emergency Response and Business Continuity exercises.
Ensure that opportunities to optimize excess baggage revenues are identified and delivered.

Ensure the Performance Management of junior team members is carried out in accordance with the Etihad Airways values.
Will act as local guest services champion for airport feedback in consultation with HQ.
Other ad hoc duties as detailed by the business as and when required.

Job Purpose
To manage the airport operation on a shift basis ensuring that service delivery conforms to regulatory, operational, safety and customer service standards within a cost effective environment. Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Job Purpose
The Crew Controller reports to the Duty Manager Crew Control on a day to day basis and ultimately Senior Manager Crew Control.

The Crew Controller is responsible for a period of 72 hours (but not limited to) of Flight Deck and Cabin Crew rosters. It is expected that the Crew Controller will make short term plans to provide optimum utilisation of manpower ensuring that all changes are made in accordance with the companies Fatigue Risk Management Policy and ultimately the GCAA Flight time Limitations.

The Crew Controller will ensure that all flights are crewed to the required levels and will take corrective action for any sickness or operational disruption that may occur. Changes will be made swiftly and error free.

Responsibilities
shall include but not be limited to:

Ensure all crew comply with the GCAA’s rules and regulations
Ensure all crew comply with Etihad Fatigue risk management policy
Ensure all Etihad flights are crewed to the correct crew compliment
Ensure all crew are legal and current to fly
Maintain overview of the daily operation
Act on any aircraft delays/diversion/operational change quickly and efficiently
Be aware any current and potential future issues with crew legality
Feedback any roster issues to Senior Crew Controller
Arrange hotac and crew positioning tickets.
Responsible and accountable for identifying safety risks in accordance with risk assessment process, and ensures that adequate risk mitigation steps are appropriately implemented in order to ascertain safety within the workplace.
Requirements

Qualification & Education:

Educated to a minimum of high school certification, ideally degree qualified from a recognised university.
Any course related to aviation would be advantageous.
Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience of airline operations, with 3 years spent in a Crew Control position.

Maintain CD-ROM/DVD library to minimum stock levels to ensure availability.
Liaise with colleagues to ensure paper documentation and digital library are concurrent.
