Sales Engineer- Canada
Work in conjunction with the Target Account Sales Consulting team throughout the life cycle of sales campaigns – including supporting the build of Proof of Concepts, custom demonstrations, attending customer walkthroughs, demonstration of industry frameworks and other PRPC related tasks. In addition they will work in conjunction with the Account Executives to ensure a successful sales cycle to support the Target Account sales model.
Key Result Areas:
Partner with the Sales Team to achieve defined sales goals.
Be the focal support for all Sales Consulting & Account Executives for extended demonstration build and on & off site POC build.
Own the Design and Build of business prototypes
Work closely with Sale Consulting group to deliver world class PRPC demonstrations
Is able to deliver POC’s and demonstrations to meet the scope and functionality to ensure that all success criteria are delivered and product differentiators are included Deep knowledge of the horizontal and Industry frameworks so that they can be leverage within PRPC
Ability to install PRPC on Tomcat, Websphere and Weblogic.
To assist in the production of RFP’s and other proposals to clients.
Delivery and creation of PRPC specific technical demonstrations
To propose technical solutions and business solutions in support of sales campaigns.
To present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to prospective clients.
Work with Sales Engineering and Sales Architecture group to receive the support needed to accomplish the technical goals.
Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of staff so as to meet the demands of the department.
Other responsibilities and key result areas will be assigned as required
Full ability to understand complex data relationships and rules-based systems.
Have experience in Database design, collaborative commerce design; XML knowledge
Must learn PRPC in expected timeframe.
Must have OOP experience. AVA, J2EE and SOAP experience is a plus
Must become the functional expert in the industry frameworks you will be supporting
