Job description
The GMT L&K Lead builds and manages the Education Plan of Learning Events for the GMT they lead.

Each GMT L&K Lead is aligned to a specific GMT and has responsibility for executing the delivery plan for their aligned geo region and actively managing the budget for each quarter on an event by event basis.

GMT L&K Leads develop and manage relationships with key GMT business stakeholders, trainers, event managers and learners and support the delivery model within their GMT. In addition they interact with the GMU L&K team & GMT GM Leader & Operations Manager to receive & provide top down & bottom up guidance to ensure that the GMT L&K operations are in alignment with business & the overall GMU L&K strategy

Voice/advocate/primary point of contact for L&K products/services for L&K in the GMT, ensuring that L&K services meet GMT needs and are delivered consistently/effectively in the GMT.

Work with GMT leadership to identify specific Learning, Knowledge Management, Methods, and Benchmarking needs.

Develop and execute plans for provision of L&K products/ services in the GMT
Communicate L&K product/service offerings and operating model to GMT stakeholders and practitioners
Co-ordinate with and leverage L&K services across the GMU and global L&K teams to enable/support effective access to L&K products & services in the GMT and deliver value
Manage L&K budgets in GMT and provide reporting, metrics & measurement and analysis to GMT GM and key GM leaders.
Provide support and coaching to local L&K staff in the GMT
Should possess deep knowledge of L&K's service and products offerings and strong stakeholder and team management skills.
Apply knowledge of the GMT business environment to develop a learning strategy, reviewed quarterly that aligns learning spend with business priorities
Able to manage Stakeholder needs and expectations and to represent L&K as a valued business support function
Able to negotiate with stakeholders and influence priorities within L&K resources
Own Fall Plan process for GMT L&K investment
Contribute to GMU-wide and Global L&K reporting and analysis
Support GMU L&K strategy by way of two way interlock discussions.
Report on monthly spend which captures education spend by budget category.
Identify current and anticipated skill gaps by working with GMT RCM team.
Manage event venue logistics , attendee invitation & T&L.
Accord help with visas as needed e.g. for a GMU wide /multi country GMT wide event.
Provide the visibility of GMT Local internal trainer resources / learning solutions..
Work with project PMOs or OO for special project education needs
Interlock with other Learning divisions within IBM - IBM Learning (IBMWide Class), IBM Education (SWG class), Technical Leadership University and etc
Promoting / tracking / communications of global "mandatory" education

Quarterly

Interlock with GLDMs to receive inputs on Quarterly education planning.
Work with GMT stakeholders for budget approval to finalize quarter L&K plan.
Quarterly Planning Process: Detailed planning for all the activities to be deployed in GMT, including GMT specific as well as Global/GMU events. In line with Fall plan to reconcile planned vs actual analysis.

Quarterly reporting on spend / budget

Yearly
Fall Planning Process take GMU guidance & achieve funding & GMT CFO approval.

Key Metrics

Satisfaction of GMT leadership with relationship management and deployment of L&K services in the GMT
Satisfaction of L&K Leadership with relationship management and deployment of L&K services in the GMT
Monitoring of L&K spend alignment with business priorities and strategic initiatives
Practitioner surveys re awareness and access to L&K products/services
Contribution to global/IOT L&K development & deployment initiatives
GMT L&K spend agreed by the GMT GM

Required
Bachelor's Degree
English: Fluent

Preferred
Master's Degree in Business/Management
